Is it possible to synchronize password verifiers between a third-party ldap server and OID? (Doc ID 1622400.1)

Goal

Setup:

* EUS is integrated with OID.

* OID in turn is integrated to an external third-party ldap server through external authentication plugins.

It was experienced that once a user's password was changed on the external ldap server a subsequent EUS login with the new password succeeded. As EUS does not use a user's  password to authenticate but rather a DB verifier this seems to indicate a synchronization mechanism between the external directory and OID.
