Webcenter Spaces Data Control Produces Error When Added To A Task Flow Or Page As A Bar Chart (Doc ID 1623720.1)

Symptoms

In 11.1.1.7.1 when trying to add data control to the page/taskflow,  get the following error in the webcenter spaces:

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a Data Control.
    1. Goto Administration => Resources Tab
      In the Left Nav Pane: Goto Data Controls under Mashups.
    2. Click Create.
    3. Select a SQL datacontrolType and a jdbc connection of WebCenterDS and enter the password for the connection.
    4. In the SQL Statement box enter:          

    5. Click on the Test button to confirm.
    6. If the connection is successful, enter a Name for the Data Control (for example, DataControlTest) and click "Create".
    7. In order to use this Data Control it must be visible.
      To do so, click on the Edit for the dropdown and select "Show".
  2. Add the Data Control to a Space in the form of a graph.
    1. Navigate to any space or create a new space in that space, use an existing page or create a new page.
    2. Edit the page.
    3. Click on the "Add Content" button to bring up the Resource Manager.
    4. In the Resource Manager, click on Mashups => Data Controls => DataControlTest (or whatever the name used for the DataControl).
    5. Under your Data Control, on the far right click on +Add.
    6. Select "Graph".
    7. In the Create Graph window, select:
                Bar => Click Next
                Bar => Click Next
                last (most simple) graph display => Click Next
                Name = x Axis => Click Next
                Value = Bars => Click Next
                Title Text = "DataControlGraph" => Click Create
    8. Click Save and Close to exit out to the view the page.
      Notice that you can navigate and the portal is still active.
    9. Edit the page again to repoduce issue.
    10. Edit the Graph by clicking on it's wrench icon.
    11. In the Component Properties dialog, scroll down and check the "Three D Effect"
      Note: Any changes will reproduce issue.
    12. Click Apply and Okay.
    13. Click on Save and Close to view the Page.
    14. You should see that cannot navigate or do anything within Webcenter. You might also see the following text:
