Unable To Save An Asset After Import From CSDT

Symptoms
I have used CSDT to update a new 7.6.0 installation from a different CS (running 7.6.0 also). When I try to create a new Asset , An error '-10003' is shown when pressing Save.
The Asset has its own table created in the database However when in the Admin tab -> AssetType the 'Create Asset Table ...' button is visible when it should not be as the table exists in the database.
When I click the 'Create Asset Table ...' button just to see if I can manually create the table again I get the following error:
"The create table operation for Channel failed. AssetMaker: An error occurred creating the asset table. Please check the descriptor file for invalid STORAGE tags. (AssetMaker error number=-2005, error number=-100)"
