Injection In Interceptors (EJB+CDI) Does Not Work If Interceptors are Placed Under WEB-INF/lib (Doc ID 1626026.1)

Symptoms

EJB has CDI injections and CDI interceptors.

If the EJB is packed in a WAR archive and interceptor classes are placed under WEB-INF/classes directory, then everything is working as expected.

However, if the interceptors are placed under WEB-INF/lib (packaged in a JAR archive), then all injections stop working even though there are no exceptions from application server.
