Symptoms
The use of the CONNECTION_PROPERTY_NET_KEEPALIVE property for the JDBC connection is not working as the documentation states (http://download.oracle.com/otn_hosted_doc/jdeveloper/905/jdbc-javadoc/oracle/jdbc/OracleConnection.html#CONNECTION_PROPERTY_NET_KEEPALIVE).
Based on the documentation the property TCP keep-alive should be set to "true" to enable TCP keep alive.
