Big Amount Of Memory Allocated By Frmweb Processes In Forms 11g Compared To Forms 10g

Oracle Forms - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Using Forms 11g on HP-UX, during tests, the memory (data segment) allocated to the frmweb process is very high. This can occur simply upon startup, and may be one order of magnitude higher compared to a similar system running Forms 10g. This happens for example when an application needing java such as Webutil is used but not necessarily.

 Upgrading from 10g to 11g.
