Error Recovering Dates in SSXA Website

Symptoms
Displaying the date for any content item from SSXA site shows up incorrect result. The date showing up on the site is always GMT + 00 where as the the actual date set as metadata for the content item is per the user profile of the checked-in author. When using release date for testing , it shows 1 hour less.
