Symptoms
When retrieving XMLType data type saved as BINARY, JDBC interprets meta char ">" as ">".
When using XMLType data type saved as CLOB, ">" is not interpreted.
When retreiving XMLType data type saved as CLOB, meta char ">" is not interpreted:
e.g
This behavior does not reproduce when connecting using JDBC 11.2.0.3 to 11.2.0.4 or 12.1.0.1 databases.
