OIF Logout URL Error 404--Not Found (Doc ID 1632993.1)

Using Oracle OIF as IDP to authenticate an external Service Provider (SP initiated SAML request). . The authentication works fine. But, when the user logs out of the external application, the SAML request kills the session in OIF but then opens a url /fed/idp/null which displays the following error -

Error 404--Not Found
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.4.5 404 Not Found

From OIF log:
[<OIF_SERVER_NAME] [INCIDENT_ERROR] [FED-10159] [] [tid: [ACTIVE].ExecuteThread: '3' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'] [userId: <USERNAME>] [ecid: ] [APP: OIF#] [URI: /fed/idp/null] [arg: /null] Unable to find the request handler mapping for this URL /null.
