Can the ggs_ddl_trace.log file be set to a different location other than the USER_DUMP_DEST database parameter? We are finding management of the file size difficult. Trace level is currently set to minimum (0). Can the file be safely 'reset' on the fly (probably not??), as in cp the file out and truncate the log? If so, how? If not, then only during an outage (shutdown) of the Oracle GoldenGate application, correct? Any suggestions on management of the "ggs_ddl_trace.log" file are much appreciated.
