Symptoms

On Tomcat, after upgrade from WebCenter Sites 7.6.2 to Sites 11.1.1.6.1, we are seeing pages not rendering. The futuretense.txt (or sites.log) shows the following error:

SEVERE: Servlet.service() for servlet jsp threw exception
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.jsp.jsp.cs_005fdeployed.MyAssettype.MyTemplate_jsp
  at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source) at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source)
  at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source)
