Symptoms
Having an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Interface with:
- Microsoft SQLServer Datastore used as Source,
- Oracle Datastore used as Target, and
- LKM MSSQL to Oracle (BCP/SQLLDR) used for loading the data.
the following message is signalled when executing the Microsoft SQLServer BCP command:
Changes
The Maximum Table Name Length of Oracle technology (target) has been changed from default 30 to 26 characters.
The Maximum Table Name Length of Microsoft SQLServer technology (source) has been left to its default value (30 characters).
