Symptoms

Oracle Directory Services Manager (ODSM) is used to connect to Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 11g.

The following text is displayed when expanding a tree or entry within ODSM/OID:

(i) Information

LDAP Error 4 - Size Limit Exceeded. The entry
"<full tree DN, e.g., cn=users,dc=mycompany,dc=com>"
has more than "200" child entries. ODSM gets
maximum "200" child entries. Use the "Advanced
Search" or "Configure Search Filter" options to
retrieve the specific entries.
