Information in this document applies to any platform.
Oracle Directory Services Manager (ODSM) is used to connect to Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 11g.
The following text is displayed when expanding a tree or entry within ODSM/OID:
LDAP Error 4 - Size Limit Exceeded. The entry
"<full tree DN, e.g., cn=users,dc=mycompany,dc=com>"
has more than "200" child entries. ODSM gets
maximum "200" child entries. Use the "Advanced
Search" or "Configure Search Filter" options to
retrieve the specific entries.
The following note describes this issue but it only covers the 10g version of OID and Oracle Directory Manager, not the 11g OID version of OID and ODSM:
Error [LDAP Error Code 4 - Sizelimit Exceeded] Received In Oracle Directory Manager <Document 467570.1>
