Goal

How do you detach a document stored in a folder?
Using FoldersFramework in 11.1.1.8 MLR 4.

If you attempt to update the metadata and remove the folder metadata value an error will happen:

Unable to update the content item information for '12345678'. Unable to update the parent folder to empty with the service ''UPDATE_DOCINFO_SUB''.
