(Doc ID 1641032.1)
Last updated on JUNE 16, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle WebCenter Content - Version 11.1.1.6.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Even though WebCenter Content (WCC) shows very few active database connections, ORA-00020 errors are being received. When this happens, the database cannot be accessed by users, and also cannot be accessed through a tool like SQL Plus or SQL Developer.
Looking in the WebLogic Server (WLS) Admin Server console, the following is observed:
- Navigating to Services -> Data Sources -> CSDS datasource -> Connection Pool tab, the Maximum Capacity value is set to a certain number.
- Navigating to Environment -> Servers -> <UCM_Managed_Server> -> Monitoring, the Active Connections Current Count value is higher that the Maximum Capacity value from Step 1.
