Symptoms

When attempting to connect to a webservice through the ODI 11g OdiInvokeWebService tool, the connection demands for a user and password (HTTP Authentication).

Using the OdiInvokeWebService editor, provide the WSDL address, user and password, then when validating with the OK button and check the command tab, the password is not encoded. Executing this step results in following message:

Checking the editor again, you observe that the password field has been modified to the encrypted password.
