Symptoms

WebLogic Server is taking a long time to startup in Linux environments running NFS shares.

Following is the environment setup:
WebLogic 10.3.6 on Exalogic Linux Machine (Exalogic version 2.0.0.0.1).Sun JDK 1.7.0_04 (Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM) with Weblogic.

Issue symptoms:

Managed server startup taking more than 2 hours.
Plain J2EE and Admin Server start up taking more than 12 minutes.
Below is the trace in thread dumps. Below we can see that there is file locking on the policy store.
