Multicast - High CPU due to storm of Cluster Messages - weblogic.cluster.MessageReceiver (Doc ID 1644012.1)

Symptoms

When Multicast is used for cluster communication, you can notice High CPU in Managed Server due to repeated processing of the same Cluster Message (sent by an another server in the cluster) - weblogic.cluster.MessageReceiver

In debug logs, you can find repeated messages from the same Managed Server:
