ODSEE - DSCC Is Not Accessible With Tomcat Security Manager (Doc ID 1645855.1)

Symptoms

 When starting Tomcat 6 with Security Manager enabled the DSCC is no longer accessible.

 

Changes

 The actual Tomcat installation directory has been replaced with $TOMCAT_HOME.   The value for this path may differ in environments.

# ./catalina.sh start -security
Using CATALINA_BASE:   /$TOMCAT_HOME/apache-tomcat-6.0.37
Using CATALINA_HOME:   /$TOMCAT_HOME/apache-tomcat-6.0.37
Using CATALINA_TMPDIR: /$TOMCAT_HOME/apache-tomcat-6.0.37/temp
Using JRE_HOME:        /usr/jdk/jdk1.6.0_37
Using CLASSPATH:       /$TOMCAT_HOME/apache-tomcat-6.0.37/bin/bootstrap.jar
Using Security Manager
