Symptoms
A WLS domain is configured to write transaction log (TLOG) data to a database as per Administration Console Online Help: Configure the Transaction Log Store. The managed server using TLOGs is started up from the Admin console. This assumes that node manager is also running.
On a graceful shutdown of the managed server, initiated from the Admin Console, multiple warnings are written to the server logs such as:
This problem was reported against SOA 11.1.1.7 with Weblogic Server (WLS) 10.3.6.0.5 (PSU5), but can equally apply to standalone WLS 10.3.6.0.5+ ( PSU 5+), i.e. PSU 5 or any later PSU.
Changes
A Weblogic Server Patch Set Update (PSU) was applied to the base 10.3.6 release. The issue is introduced with PSU 5 (WLS 10.3.6.0.5+)
