Issues With The Installation Of Policy Agent 3.0-03 For IIS7 32-bit: Patch 144701-03: Policy Agent 3.0 for IIS7 32-bit is broken, Install fails with error - MSVCR80.dll was not found (Doc ID 1662768.1)

On : OpenSSO Policy Agent 3.0 [specific Patch ID 144701-03: for OpenSSO Policy Agent 3.0 for IIS7 32-bit on Microsoft Windows (32-bit)]

There is issue with the installation of Policy Agent 3.0-03 for IIS7 32-bit on windows server 32-bit.

At the step where we are giving the Path to the file that contains the agent profile password, an ERROR occurred with a popup windows showing the following error as to when entering the Agent profile password file :


cryptit.exe - Unable To Locate Component

X This application has failed to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.


Then Clicking on "OK", you will get a further Microsoft Windows box with message as "cryptit.exe has stopped working"

On Click on the "View problem details", you will get the following
