Is There an ODI 12c Substitution Method which Allows the Retrieval of Error Messages Sent to the Exception Stack in Load Plans? (Doc ID 1664713.1)

Goal

Attempting to leverage Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c LoadPlan Exception Handling to log exceptions to a custom logging table.

As such, an IKM has been customized to add a log entry to a custom log-table, and the plan is to use the exception handling in LoadPlans to capture errors.

However, while there is no issue with obtaining information on failed steps using a procedure attached to a KO-event, retrieving any message or error-code using exception handling in LoadPlans is not possible.

indicates that you should be able to capture previous events, but the underlying code is not shown.

When using getPrevLogStep() there is no previous step.

Is there a way to retrieve information on the event erroring-out in a scheme created for handling exceptions?
