You have an Exalogic System running Exalogic Elastic Cloud Software (EECS) version 188.8.131.52.0 in a virtual configuration, where you have previously defined a Network under Enterprise Manager OpsCenter (EMOC) that you no longer need and now wish to delete via the EMOC Browser based User Interface (BUI). You have logged onto the EMOC BUI as a non-root user with appropriate privileges but when you initiate "Delete Network" no EMOC job is created and instead a dialog box "Error: Failed to create job" is displayed on the screen, as shown below:
