Old Version of Jar still Provided By Forms Managed Server Despite Having Overwritten it With New Jar File (Doc ID 1667682.1)

Symptoms

Various symptoms can occur, they all indicate a new static file (such as a jar) is not being picked up by the Managed Server for download, instead the previous version is still downloaded.

It can be a new icon added to an iconic jar is not displayed, or for example after signing a jar, the security warning remains.

Other symptoms sharing the same root cause are the following exceptions in the java console when a jar fails to be loaded:

 

Changes

A static file that has been made available for download using a managed weblogic server is now overwritten with a new version.

For example a static file (such as a jar) has been updated in (Oracle_Home)\forms\java or in forms\webutil.
