Goal
How to start Oracle GoldenGate 12.1.x 'embedded' jagent when using Oracle Grid Infrastructure Bundled Agent (XGA)?
If OGG 12.1.x 'embedded' jagent is started by Oracle Grid Infrastructure Bundled Agent (XGA) -> Autostart JAgent: yes
It is possible that one or more of the following issues will be experienced:
- jagent attempts to start and immediately stops
- jagent.log file is not created or updated
- jagent starts but fails to provide process status data to OEM 12c or OGG Monitor Server
NOTE: OGG 12c jagent only supports JDK 1.7.x+
