The "Use Popup Window" option from "Search - Toolbar" Task Flow Does not Show the Results as a PopUp (Doc ID 1668066.1)

Symptoms

The "Use Popup Window" option from "Search - Toolbar" doesn't show the results as a popup.


Steps To Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Create a Portal / Space.
    e.g.: PortalSite1
  2. Add the "Search-Toolbar" to a custom Resource Catalog.
     
    • Go to Administer the Portal.
    • Go to Assets -> Resource Catalogs.
    • Copy "Default Portal Catalog".
      e.g. to: My Default Portal Catalog
    • Edit the copied resource catalog.
    • Click Add -> Add from Library.
    • Select "Task Flows".
    • Expand "Design Time".
    • Select the "Search - Toolbar" task flow and click "Add".
    • Save and Close the resource catalog.
  3. Set the new resource catalog for the new portal.
     
    • Go to Administer the Portal.
    • Select "Settings".
    • Set the "Resource Catalog for..." Pages to: My Default Portal Catalog.
    • Click Save.
  4. Add the "Search-Toolbar" Task Flow to the Home page in the portal.
     
    •  Go to Administer the Portal - > Pages.
    • Select the Home page and click Edit.
    • Add Search-Toolbar to the page from Resource Catalog. 
    • Edit the "Search - Toolbar" properties.
    • Select the "Parameters" Tab.
    • Set the "Use Popup Window" option to: Always
    • Apply and OK
    • Click Save.
  5.  Select "View the Portal".
  6. Do a search.
    Note the search results page does not show as Popup.
