Oracle API Gateway - Version 11.1.2.1.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
You may face either of the below issues with SSL in OAG:
- The "managedomain" command can no longer be used after the API Gateway server is updated to remove SSL (Option 2 to edit the host information).
When the "managedomain" command is run again, it continues to use the previous host configuration with SSL.
Below error message is seen :
The Node Manager on 'https://<IP ADD>:<ADMIN PORT>/api' is not running. Please start it and retry this command.
OR
- In a fresh installation of OAG, the SSL options for both the Node Manager and Gateway Instance were not selected. When running the "managedomain" command immediately afterwards, it reports:
Admin Node Manager: https://<IP ADD>:<ADMIN PORT>
This causes the selected option to fail with the following message:
Error: The Node Manager on 'https://<IP ADD>:<ADMIN PORT>/api' is not running. Please start it and retry this command.
