Cannot Set Max Length for Tabular Form Item

Information in this document applies to any platform.
Max length is hard coded and user can not change in tabular form.
If the text field is an item, not part of tabular form, user can set max length in "Maximum Width".
On the other hand, user can input over maxlength if the text field is part of tabular form and user set max length in "Element Attributes" like:
