"DstVer.exe has stopped working" Error When Using Verifier In Oracle Forms Recognition

Symptoms
Users are experiencing intermittent errors when trying to process invoice documents in Forms Recognition. The environment is running the application on a Citrix server on Windows 2008 R2, where Windows XP machines and connect and gain access. Multiple users are affected, and the error message can pop up a different times in the process. For some, it has appeared when selecting an item from Verifier and pops up before any action can be taken. The error returned in Verifier is:
DstVer.exe has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program.
The entry in the application event viewer log reads as:
