Is There a Way to Change the Default Behavior of Locking a Document when Downloading the WebCenter Content: Imaging Document? (Doc ID 1676908.1)

Goal

Currently, when a user downloads a document in WCC Imaging, by default, it locks the document to that user.  The check box for lock document is checked by default.  If the user does not unlock the document, it causes issues later if another user or process tries to use this document since it is locked to the other user.  Is there a way to change this default behavior of locking the document?
