 Oracle Forms/Reports 11gR1 (11.1.1.x) Premier Support Ends

This note applies to Fusion Middleware 11gR1 (11.1.1.x) Portal, Forms, Reports, Discoverer (PFRD) installations.  Refer to the Fusion Middleware Lifetime Support document for information about your specific product line.   Oracle Fusion Middleware 11gR1 Portal, Forms, Reports, Discoverer was released in June 2009.  As of June 2014, Premier Support for this product version has ended.  With Premier Support ending, this product is no longer entitled to the following:

• New updates, fixes, security alerts, data fixes, and critical patch updates
• New tax, legal, and regulatory updates
• New upgrade scripts
• Certification with new third-party products/versions
• Certification with new Oracle products

In short, this means that Oracle Support can no longer file product defect reports (bugs) for this product version, nor can Oracle Support provide patches for existing bugs unless they already exist.   This also means that if a particular bug fix is not available for your platform, one cannot be requested.

Please refer to your Support Agreement to determine your specific entitlement. Note that Extended Support is available, as described in the Fusion Middleware Lifetime Support document.  Please do not ask Oracle Support for information about your account or entitlements as that information is not available to them.  For questions about your account and/or Support contract, please contact your Account Manager or Sales Representative.



Oracle Forms and Reports Customers

Oracle recommends that Forms and Reports customers upgrade to a fully supported version (one that is entitled to Premier Support).  Please see the Fusion Middleware Lifetime Support document for the appropriate release.  At the time of this note's creation,  Oracle Forms and Reports 11g Release 2 (  was the most current version.  Complete details about this version can be found in the 11gR2 documentation library and the 11gR2 Certification Matrix.  Also, see <Note 1503701.1> Announcing Oracle Forms & Reports 11g Release 2 (11.1.2).

Additionally, be aware of the the current Development Tools Statement of Direction.

Oracle Portal Customers

Oracle recommends customers migrate to Oracle WebCenter Portal from Oracle Portal.  Please see <Note 1566193.1> Oracle Portal: Questions and Answers - Statement of Direction & Lifetime Support (Doc ID 1566193.1) for more details.
