How to Suppress Matrix Row Information (Doc ID 174810.1)

Purpose

 How to suppress matrix row information when no data is returned?

For example, given a matrix report with department number (row), job information

(column), and sum of commission for cross product (cell). If no commission data

is returned for a given department (row) in matrix report, then omit department

(row) information in report output.

Scope

 Intended for novice users with a step by step procedure to create a sample

report. This can be applied to a wide variety of record suppression

requirements.
