Portal bad Performance due to hanging portal user sessions (Doc ID 180791.1)

Symptoms

All current portal users hangs and no new connection can be established to portal.
V$SESSION_WAIT and systemstate dump shows that sessions are waiting for 'enqueue' and 'buffer busy waits' on table WWA_MODULE_SESSION_ELEMENTS$ (nested table, child of WWA_MODULE_SESSIONS$ table).
