Oracle Virtual Server(x86-64)

Symptoms

In Exalogic Virtual environment Guest VM's which have NIS configuration and use NFSv4 shares, issue of NFSv4 directories & files ownership showing "nobody" permissions for 10-15 minutes after the VM reboot is observed.

After 10-15 minutes after the reboot permissions of NFSv4 directories & files ownership changes back to original ownership.

When we unmount and remount the NFSv4 shares within the 10-15 minutes window where we see the problem after the reboot the permissions again changes back to original ownership.

This is issue is observed mainly on the NIS clients.

NIS is configured properly as per steps mentioned in Document ID : 1516025.1 - How To Configure NIS Master, Slave And Client Configuration In Exalogic Virtual Environment. There are no configuration issues with the shares of NFSv4 shares itself.
