How To Drop an Existing Cache From a Command Line Utility
Last updated on FEBRUARY 24, 2017
Applies to:Oracle Coherence - Version 126.96.36.199.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Both the Coherence Query (CohQL) command line interface (query.sh / query.cmd utility under <COHERENCE_HOME>/bin) and the Coherence Console command line interface can be used to drop/destroy caches , but neither command returns the result of the operation so it is hard to know if the command has been successful. Although dropping/destroying caches is an uncommon task in production environments it is usual in development environments.
