Goal

When using an IBM WebSphere 7.0.0.31 application server and an Apache web server we have a strange behaviour when attempting to login to WCS Sites. The original URL includes "https" in the request (https://[host]/[sites context]). This URL is redirected by Sites to the CAS login url but the "service" parameter refers "HTTP" only which is wrong because the request was initiated using "HTTPS" protocol:
https://[host]/[cas context]/login?service=http%3A%2F%2F[host]%2F[sites context]%2Fwem%2Ffatwire%2Fwem%2FWelcome
