Symptoms

OAM Authentication after user stays on the authentication login page for more than 15 minutes will end in OAM system error page and in the OAM Server logs, an exception error message like this is shown:

<Error> <oracle.oam.binding> <OAM-00002> <Error occurred while handling the request.
java.lang.RuntimeException:   Authentication request Timed out. Eapsed time in min: 119280
    at oracle.security.am.controller.BaseRequest.updateObjectWithCachedMap(BaseRequest.java:482)
    at oracle.security.am.controller.util.CookieCacheHandler.sync(CookieCacheHandler.java:178)
    at oracle.security.am.controller.util.RequestCache.sync(RequestCache.java:113)
...

 

Example of use case: 

     A user enters a protected resource page on browser and is redirected to the OAM login page.  Then, User stays on this OAM login page for longer than an idle timeout of 15 minutes and enters the valid credentials to login.

     After sending this user credentials to the OAM server, the OAM Standard system error page will be displayed.
