How to Prevent Oracle API Gateway From Stripping HTTP Headers From a Response (Doc ID 1908631.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 07, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle API Gateway - Version 11.1.2.1.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Oracle API Gateway sits between a client and a backend server.  It listens to a specific http service for which the client makes a GET request to the Gateway. The gateway forwards the request to the backend.  However from the trace log, the backend responds back with a Content Length header to the Gateway, but when the gateway responds to the client, it strips of that header.

How can the Gateway connection be configured so that the HTTP header is not stripped from the response returned from the end service?
