Applies to:Oracle JRockit - Version R28.2.0 and later
Trying to install JRockit Java SE, the JRockit installer fails reproducibly on Linux operating systems.
The behaviour was mainly reported for 64-bit Linux boxes, but is not is not restricted to this platform.
After the download, the file was modified using command 'chmod 755' to set the permissions,
so that the file can be executed.
The behaviour is due to some security hardening on the Linux box.
The /tmp file system was set to 'noexec' in the '/etc/fstab' file.
