How To Provide 1.3.6.1.4.1.26027.1.5.4 Support Control (used by ECL) to OUD Proxy (Doc ID 1911489.1)

Goal

1. Description

 

This article applies to OUD  till release 11.1.2.2.X

supportedControl: 1.3.6.1.4.1.26027.1.5.4 (used by ECL) is not available out of the box for OUD Proxy.
In the same way External Changelog Cookie v2 Control - 1.3.6.1.4.1.26027.2.3.4, adding this supported control is decribed at the end of this document.

This article explains how to add it to OUD proxy

Default behaviour:

(OUD instance)
./ldapsearch -p 1389 -D "cn=Directory Manager" -w -s base -b "" objectClass=* supportedControl | grep 26027
supportedControl: 1.3.6.1.4.1.26027.1.5.2
supportedControl: 1.3.6.1.4.1.26027.1.5.4
supportedControl: 1.3.6.1.4.1.26027.1.5.5
supportedControl: 1.3.6.1.4.1.26027.1.5.6
supportedControl: 1.3.6.1.4.1.26027.2.3.1
supportedControl: 1.3.6.1.4.1.26027.2.3.2



(OUD Proxy instance)

supportedControl: 1.3.6.1.4.1.26027.1.5.5

This example show clearly that OUD proxy is not providing supportedControl: 1.3.6.1.4.1.26027.1.5.4 out of the box, which is required by ECL.
