This KM Note explains on how to update the Coherence version for the Oracle WebCenter Portal.
This task should be done ONLY, if you somewhat believe the problem you have at hand could come from the Coherence product, and ONLY for testing purposes.
Under any other circumstances, you should update the Coherence version of the Fusion Middleware Home.
Coherence can be updated depending on how Coherence is installed. Coherence comes into the Fusion Middleware via the following ways:
- From the WLS Install - you may choose to install Coherence product;
- From the FMW_HOME, eg, from the oracle_common ORACLE_HOME;
- From any specific product application(s)
