ORA-06576 error for SQLEXEC "call dbms_ddl.set_trigger_firing_property('<schema>','<table>',FALSE)" (Doc ID 1912312.1)

Last updated on JUNE 05, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle GoldenGate - Version 11.1.1.0.0 to 12.1.3.0.0 [Release 11.1.1 to 12.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

How do you use the GoldenGate parameter SQLEXEC when the procedure requires arguments?

The documentation states that the syntax is:
SQLEXEC “call <procedure name>()”
[EVERY {SECONDS | MINUTES | HOURS | DAYS}]
[ONEXIT]

However, if this syntax is used, then the following error occurs:
2014-07-29 10:59:49 ERROR OGG-00891 Unsuccessful execution: Database error 6576 (ORA-06576: not a valid function or procedure name SQL call dbms_ddl.set_trigger_firing_property('schema','table',FALSE)).
