Authentication Fails with "Invalid credentialsl" Error After Upgrading OVD 11g From 11.1.1.5.0 to Later / Newer Versions (Doc ID 1912841.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Virtual Directory (OVD) 11g 11.1.1.6.0 and later / higher.

After upgrading OVD from 11.1.1.5 (or earlier versions) to 11.1.1.6 (or later versions), some users are not able to authenticate against the LDAP adapter.

An ldapbind command fails with error:

Before the upgrade, all the users were able to bind successfully.

 Upgraded OVD from 11.1.1.5 (or earlier versions) to 11.1.1.6 (or later versions).
