Password Never Expires Policy With OIM 11.1.2.2.4, OAM And OUD Integration (Doc ID 1913292.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 14, 2022

Applies to:

Identity Manager - Version 11.1.2.2.0 to 11.1.2.3.0 [Release 11g]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Product versions are OIM / OUD 11.1.2.2
Create a user in OIM with 90 day password policy. OIM updates it internal database table (USR) with expiry date. It also updates the obPasswordChangeFlag and obPwdExpiryDate to 90 days out.

In OIM, to set never expires policy, set the Expires After (days) parameter to blank. The user has the expiry date set to null -> indicating that password never expires.
Hoewver in OUD, the obPwdExpiryDate is set to the same date of user creation. This prevents setting up of users with never expires policy in OUD for use by OAM.
