Pre-authentication Advanced Rules Are Not Handling the "referer" Attribute as Expected
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 21, 2016
Applies to:Oracle Access Manager - Version 220.127.116.11.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
A pre-authentication advanced rule is configured as part of the OAM authentication policy, as described in Fusion Middleware Administrator's Guide for Oracle Access Management 18.104.22.168.
The "referer" request context data attribute is not working as expected in the following cases:
- request.referer == 'https://HOST.DOMAIN/inloggen'
- request.referer.find('inloggen') > 0
- request.referer.lower().find('inloggen') > 0
This behavior was verified in Chrome and Mozilla browsers.
