Troubleshooting the Trigger of Enable/Disable Process Tasks on Application Instances (Doc ID 1913832.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 13, 2019

Applies to:

Identity Manager - Version 11.1.2.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Purpose

This document provides the troubleshooting steps required when the enable/disable process tasks are not triggered on a resource after the status update of the OIM user.

Background

The enable/disable process tasks are triggered by a out of the box post-process event handler, TriggerUserProcesses.
This event handler checks the orchestration operation to determine the status change of the OIM user entity. Then, for each resource, it inserts the corresponding process task (enable or disable) in to the provisioning process.

If these tasks are not inserted as expected, the following troubleshooting steps should be applied.
