How To Configure RCU for Creating ODI Repositories on Microsoft SQLServer DBO Schema (Doc ID 1913993.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 07, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator - Version 11.1.1.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

How to create Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Repositories on Microsoft SQLServer technology on a specific schema (DBO) while RCU does not provide an option to specify the schema name, only a prefix which is merged into ODI_REPO as the name of the schema?

In RCU after you specify the prefix, (PROD_ODI_REPO) and during the Repository creation process, by default PROD_ODI_REPO is defined as schema owner by RCU for all objects created under ODI Repositories.

Why does it define PROD_ODI_REPO as schema owner for ODI Repository objects, and how could this be changed?
