OIM11g: Intermittent Request Failures in Clustered Oracle Identity Manager Environments (Doc ID 1914364.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) 11.1.1.5.x clustered environments, intermittent request failures are seen.  Initially, the issue is linked with the following entry in the OIM managed servers diagnostic log files but can also happen with no error in either the OIM or SOA managed server log files:

oracle.iam.platform.kernel.ProcessNotInPrePostStageException

Changes

 The issue is typically seen after configuring a cluster or increasing load on an existing cluster.
