Invalid Passphrase Supplied Error Message Is Reported by Policy Studio While Giving The Admin Password When The PassPhrase Is Requested (Doc ID 1917506.1)

Symptoms

After a new OAG 11.1.2.3.0 installation is completed, an attempt is made to change the password for the admin user.  When editing the configuration in Policy Studio, the following error is thrown:

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will using the following steps:

  1) install the core gateway on <SERVER1>, then change the admin password
  2) create a gateway and start it.

  3) install Policy Studio, API Gateway Explorer, Configuration Studio on <SERVER2>

  4) launch Policy Studio and connect to the admin node manager by supplying the host, port, username, password
      it displays the group and gateway available
 
      click on the group -> edit active configuration --> and provide the password in the appropriate location.
      on providing password that was used in step 2) to get the error reported.
