WebCenter Portal Framework Application Leaves Cached CSS File In TMP Folder Of Weblogic Server (Doc ID 1918023.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 03, 2022

Oracle WebCenter Portal - Version 11.1.1.2.0 to 11.1.1.9.181008 [Release 11g]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

A WebCenter Portal framework application is deployed to a managed server.

For some file, e.g. CSS file, a cached version is returned by the server. Those files are located in temp folder:

/opt/apps/domains/servers//tmp/_WL_user//rslj86/public/adf/styles/cache

Most of the time if the CSS is changed and the WebCenter Portal framework application redeployed, an older version of the CSS file is downloaded to browser.  The CSS files are provided from this Application deploymnet tmp folder, and these files do not get refreshed after WebCenter Portal framework application redeployment and restarting server.

Is here a way to safely refresh this cache ?
